As a responsible company, ComTür places great emphasis on management in harmony with nature and the environment. This applies to all areas of the company.

Preservation of resources
Wood is a natural material with a long lifespan. It gives us inimitable raw materials that we can process into high-quality door elements for you. So that stocks of this unique raw material continue to be available for a long time to come, it is imperative that it is handled and used with care. We are happy to comply with these requirements .
Safeguarding the company’s standards
The high-quality door elements are produced and checked on the basis of ecological principles. ComTür is setting high standards in this. These principles cover the following aspects, for example :
- Wood materials such as chip boards etc. meet the strict guidelines of the E1 standard. The use of chip boards can largely be dispensed with in various door models as a result of innovative technologies .
- ComTür by and large refrains from using woods from tropical rainforests and gives careful consideration to sustainable forestry and reforestation .
- Even at the purchasing stage, the company gives careful thought to using ecologically sound products. This applies to all products and raw materials that are brought into the production cycle .
- All materials are checked not only for their environmental compatibility but also in terms of whether they can be recycled or how they can be disposed of.
- Remains of raw wood material are collected in silos at our headquarters in Heilbronn-Biberach and converted to thermal energy .
For safety reasons and for the purposes of transporting, the high-quality products are protected in an environmentally friendly, recyclable packaging. This packaging can be taken away again immediately after delivery if required.
These are just a few examples of our contribution to the protection of the environment. The measures required are monitored internally on an ongoing basis and adapted to the latest requirements.
For a better environment and a future worth living
